Senseless Love – Part 3, Chapter Closed.

She had everything a 15 year old girl could ask for, a loving father, a caring mother and a best friend, Lolo. On a Thursday evening her parents took Lolo to the Vet and asked Ayesha to water her mom’s favorite pink roses after coming back from her dance class. But what she did not expect was to lose everyone she adored and loved in one single day. Her father had stopped the car abruptly to save a small child who jumped onto the road from nowhere, when a bus crashed on to their car from behind at that exact moment. Nobody made it out of the car that day and Ayesha never got around to water those pink roses.

Everyone wanted to take responsibility of Ayesha in their family, with the huge assets the parents had left behind for the minor child, who wouldn’t want to be. Ayesha had seen the fights, the drama, the lies and even the disrespectful talks they had about her parents. She was surrounded by many, but felt the most loneliest. She yearned to be left alone by those vultures who kept passing her on from one family to another as a trophy for their deal settlement. Ayesha finished both school and college without having any friends, but the day she joined her first job in a new city bought in joy she had not felt in a long 13 years. He was kind, sweet and funny, however, she observed him from far and never wanted him close to her life. I cannot stand to lose another soul in this lifetime and moreover, who would want to be with a nobody, she kept telling herself.

His love for Ayesha was pure and delicate. Deepak knew her entire past and desperately dreamt of the day he could introduce his Ayesha to the family. His mom and brother would love, Ayesha, dad would be hesitant at first, but Deepak hoped he would eventually come around. What Deepak didn’t anticipate was his mother to object to their relationship, two days after having a disappointing talk with dad about the same. Ayesha stopped talking to Deepak completely as she didn’t want to be the reason to break a family. A family is a God’s gift, you will not know the value of one until you lose them, Ayesha told him. All though their senseless love couldn’t keep them away for a long time, Ayesha had one condition alone. She did not want to marry him without his parents’ approval and a promise that nobody gets hurt because of their relationship. The plan to get away from the place for a while was their last hope to convince his parents, Deepak assured.

Ayesha kept her phone and looked at her friend, they both had no idea what to do next. Ayesha became pale and was now trembling, uncontrollably. Her friend was reaching out to hug her, when all of a sudden, from the other side of the wall a pebble came flying in. Ayesha sat on the floor now, with relief turning into fits of laughter. Come on you love bird, let me get you out of here, said her friend.

“Before you say or do anything harmful, I would like to tell you that Deepak is fine.” said Karthik.

“So where is Deepak? Why didn’t you tell me he hasn’t come by giving me a call, why make me climb this wall. Tell me Karthik, what is wrong?”

Karthik started narrating the entire story, just like how Mr. Raghuram had instructed him to. Deepak’s father came to know about his plan to elope and begged him to change his mind. Deepak was adamant on his stand and when he went behind Deepak’s car, Mr. Raghuram met with a major accident and is now admitted to the ICU. Ayesha’s heart broke a little and was finding it difficult to breathe. She has become the reason for everything horrible that has been happening. Tears came streaming down one after the other and Ayesha had made up her mind when her phone rang again.
