There are days we feel everything is going wrong in our lives and it’s always a struggle to get past that feeling. Even when things are going perfectly normal in life do you feel like you could be happier? I know it can be a struggle and today we will go through 28 words I feel we should include in our daily life to lead a more positive and happier life.

1) Smile.

I’ve seen people walk by without giving me the smile back when I show all my 34 teeth to them and they know I’m smiling at them. Where as you see an American he/she will greet you along with a smile. This small act can really change your mood the whole day and maybe you should try putting a smile on someone’s face everyday.

2) Forgive.

We carry so much of baggage with us, sometimes all it takes you is to forgive the person and move on. I’m not going to tell you the bullshit “this is going to make you the better person” NO, not that. It will make you feel happier and will allow YOU to move ahead from that dark place.

3) Confidence.

Confidence is not just about going to a stage and talking to stranger. You need confidence to lead a life where in you are prepared to meet any obstacles that life throws at you. “I’m confident I can deal with it. I can do it.”

4) Love.

Love your family. Love you dog. Love your friends. Love is such an infectious feeling it will bring positive vibes all around you. As if I need to tell you that.;)

5) Gratitude.

Everyday I say gratitude for the things I have. Trust me it makes a huge difference in your daily life. I’m grateful for the food I can eat, the water I can drink, the electricity I have, the internet I have and the people who love me. Or even for the smallest thing like a vegetable peeler. It let’s you appreciate and focus on the things you have and not the other way around.

6) Beauty.

Always remember that no matter how beautiful you are, if you think negative and be negative it will reflect in your face. Your inside beauty is more important than the outside beauty. Be beautiful within you.

7) Yes.

Yes I can do it. Yes I’ll be better tomorrow. Yes I’ll work on it today. Yes he might me right. Yes I can make mistakes. Yes I can change that. Yes I can do it. YESSSSSSSS!

8) Funny.

Well we can’t be funny always and being funny is not everybody’s comfort zone. But start with a very lame joke and say it to one of your lame friend. I’m kidding. Find space for humor in life, you never know when it’s going to come in handy.

9) Praise.

Praise the effort of others who try to help you in life. You might think it won’t make a difference to others but it will create a positive environment.

10) Content.

There is no point dwelling over what we don’t have just like there is no point dwelling over the past.

11) Health.

Everyday make sure you appreciate your health and well being. Try to focus your energy on leading a healthier lifestyle.

12)Peace.

Find an hour of peace daily in your life where you surrender to the moment and breathe. Go to your happy place.

13) Fearless.

There is nothing to fear in life, even death. You cannot stop the inevitable but if you face anything without fear, you’re a winner in every way.

14) Compassion.

If a friend is going throughout a struggle that you cannot understand, be someone who can give warmth and a lot of sensitivity towards the situation. Behave in a way how you would want others to treat you in a difficult situation.

I need to feel like I’m growing as a person everyday. I don’t know if others would find any difference but for me the smallest changes I make to lead a happier life let’s me feel accomplished, that I’ve grown as a human.

23) Acceptance.

Sometimes horrible things happen to us which cannot be reversed. But if you accept the reality and figure out a way to get out of it you can stop getting stuck in a place and move ahead. Accept the truth that life leads you to.

24) Blessed.

Im not religious but I feel that there is a force in this universe which lead me to this life, for that I feel blessed. If you let go and feel blessed to have those things that were never in your power in the first place, feeling blessed should make you happier.

25) Temporary.

One day you will be extremely happy and the next day would be the saddest day of your life. But remember that nothing is permanent and when you know THAT you can take both happiness and sadness gracefully.

26) Unique.

Comparisons will never let you lead a peaceful life. Do not bother what others are doing and focus your energy on being unique and finding a new path for yourself.

27) Abundance.

The world is filled with abundant opportunities and goodness.
