Post-Holidays Blues and New Year’s Eve!

Today I woke up in the morning with my eyes burning, stomach churning and heart sinking. It was a feeling I remembered so very well during childhood because the moment a long vacation is over and it’s time to get back to school that Monday morning I would feel exactly the same. Of course, during those times I used to viciously plan some excuses so that I couldn’t make it to the school. Now, that I’ve grown up, it’s getting difficult, or maybe my parents were gullible soft hearts, I really don’t know. But Bigshot? He has definitely not fallen for any of it. Yet!

You see, for the past 10 days, Bigshot was at home either working or enjoying the holidays watching and finishing the entire Marco Polo series with me. We watched tons of movies along with some unasked for documentaries that did you know Jeff Bezoz, the founder of Amazon did something boring fifteen years ago for his company and how it was a huge risk? Well, never mind!  Now that Bigshot is getting ready as we speak, to go to office, I’ve the urge to lock him up in the bathroom till it’s too late for him to go.  It’s not like I didn’t try to convince him from yesterday night of my made-up ailments so that he would be worried sick and take a leave. Well, he is clever and clearly knows when I’m lying, also, I may have given it all away when I started saying my hair is hurting. If you were here and heard our conversations you would have felt very bad for me. Not because I was hurting, but because I was desperate not to have him go to the office. I couldn’t sleep the whole night and while I tossed and turned around,  my brain was working extra hours, trying to come up with a better excuse to make him stay that’s believable as well as effective. Hence the burning feeling in my eyes when I woke up in the morning.

Obviously all these feeling will go away in a couple of hours after he goes to office and once I get back to my normal weekday routine but till then it’s going to be really hard. In fact I’ll even completely forget about him the moment I start reading my newly bought books because guess what, it’s been raining continuously in Greensboro and there is nothing better than a good book on a rainy day. Until then, I’m going to fake being sick and try my luck at having Bigshot around the house. Who knows, I might even lock him up in the bathroom as we speak. 😉

The levitra 30mg sildenafil citrate present in kamagra acts on this PDE5 and does not let it function. It is always better going with natural online purchase of cialis http://appalachianmagazine.com/2016/05/20/200-years-ago-the-year-without-a-summer/ ways than to look for medicinal methods for the treatment. In such a condition people either give up or tend to lose their personal relations with their partner as cialis price view these guys they are at a higher risk for osteoporosis. Due to lack of blood circulation the veins are unable to maintain erection for sufficient amount of time and this in turn prevents them from enjoying a satisfactory sexual viagra discount prices intimacy. On the contrary though, Bigshot is excited to go to office, just the way he was when he had to go to school. I’m sure he can’t wait to stick his head into those humongous monitors and live his dream of coding and all that. Isn’t it great to have a job you love and value along with a wife who tries to destroy them all? Aaah, I’m kidding! I know the moment he comes out of the bathroom he is going to say that he will stay at home and I’ll reply with a  no. Because that’s how it works and these Monday blues makes you even more grateful for the weekends and the holidays. Right?

New Year’s Eve Party at the Yacht was an exciting new experience where we circled around the entire Lake Norman in Charlotte, while everyone sang and danced around to glory. I would have enjoyed even further if they had some Desi Indian songs just like we do in Indian New Year’s Eve parties but it was a whole new experience. When it was 2 minutes for the new year everyone started shouting the countdown as the skies filled with fireworks. It was indeed a beautiful night! 🙂

By the way, did you see the new look of my blog? I thought a new year should start with a new look for the blog and it’s not a drastic change and I still have some places and nooks to fix. However, I’m assuming the website is a little bit more faster and better to read but if you have any feedbacks, do let me know in the comments below. Please don’t hesitate. Have a good day/night everyone 🙂
