Firstly I want to wish myself a very happy birthday and also to remind me that this might be the last birthday where I’ll be faking excitement for turning a year older. I mean I don’t know if I have it in me to fake turning older as any form of good news anymore and my brain completely agrees with it. I don’t want to know how I would feel when I turn 29, but for now let me focus on the big 28 and stay happy. However, this year I was abundantly showered with birthday wishes from so many of my friends and family along with some new friends I made through this blog that I’m feeling truly humbled and blessed for all of it. Seriously! Thank You. 🙂

My birthday celebration started at midnight when I cut an eggless non-diary cake which I insisted on buying, but the moment we fed each other that one tiny piece, our faces cringed from the tasteless shit which we were trying to gobble down our throat. Biggest surprise came from my dad sent me a picture of the birthday card he had given me when he was working away from us. I might have been 6 years old but he had stuck photo of me on the front of the card and a picture of his face inside the card. Even though I look like the devil incarnated child in the picture, the whole thing reminded me of the sweetest and the most beautiful memories I had with my parents, my brother, my family and friends.

Bigshot was sweet to take leave on my birthday but not sweet enough to plan what we were supposed to do the whole day. Our weekend officially starts today as Thanksgiving holiday is tomorrow and then the weekend almost starts. I’ll update you guys on what we actually did on my birthday.
