As awkward as this post can be, I owe it to every single one of you who kept asking me about my blog and why I had taken a long hiatus from it.  The Chicago trip, which Bigshot and I took during June was one of the best trips we ever had and we were comfortably settling back to our normal routine when something amazing happened. You see, few months prior to the Chicago trip I would most of the time sit on my couch and imagine being home. Home. India. And like Joey who goes to London (I’m assuming everyone has seen the TV show friends) I started being highly homesick. That is when the good news came and it was time for us to take a trip to India.

I wanted to tell everyone my plan and even decided to write while I was there but everything became a complete mess. I got so involved with my shopping for India and spending hours on our dingy closet not to mention the trips to be planned while in India that neither I got the time to write even a single post nor I had the space to pack up my laptop to write everyday. Say even if I had taken them with me, I’m pretty sure now that I’ve returned from my trip that I did not even have a single day free where I could just sit and write.

Now after dumping my diarrheatic thoughts, let me just say that my India trip was extremely special and even though the trip took a lot out of me, it was all worth it. I’ll write about my trip in my next post which would be coming soon and also it’s 6 in the morning in the US and my jet lag is getting much better because I was getting up at 3 in the morning for the past 3 days while Bigshot couldn’t stop snoring.
