28 of My Favorite Recipes

Have you been following me on Instagram? Because if you do, you will know that I occasionally post videos and pictures about my cooking projects and sometimes mind you, they turn out to be a total disaster. But I love cooking with the exception of washing dishes.  So today I thought why not share my favorite recipes with all of you. 1) Coconut Cooler 

This was inspired from a mocktail we had in a famous Restuarant chain here and I looked up the recipe online. I’ll avoid the alcohol and just make it with the rest of the ingredients.

2) Green Smoothie

This is a detox drink which is exceptionally good for your body.

3) Watermelon Lemonade

Bigshot makes the best juices and I like this one the best.

4) Beetroot Carrot Soup 

You knew this Soup was coming in my list and that is because it tastes delicious, not to forget healthy.

5) Thai Soup 

This can be a comfort food for the winter and it feels light in the stomach.

6) Chickpea Salad

I love Angela Leddon’s recipes and this is an exceptionally good one.

7) Coconut Pancakes

Since I don’t eat eggs and drink milk I like to have substitutes for them when I’m cooking something as declicious as a pancake and this one I have tried and loved.

8) Stuffed Aloo Bread

This is our staple food in our household from time to time, as it is easier and can be prepped in no time.

9) Ada Dosa 

I’m a Mallu who loves her dosas and Ada dosa is one of my favorite since childhood.

10) Buttered Garlic Shrimp

This is my favorite recipe for a shrimp and it’s very simple to make.

11) Pani Puri/Stuffed Puri 

When I was living in Pune what I used to enjoy were the Pani Puris on the street sides. Since I don’t have street side foods available in the place we live, I make them on my own and I love this recipe. We make pain puris almost every week.

12) Chicken Fried Rice 

I love to make Indo-Chinese dishes and this is as easy as easy can get.

13) Long Life Noodles with Shrimp

This was again inspired from a Restaurant we eat always and it’s mind-blowingly awesome. I substituted fermented beans with Asafoetida.

14) Salmon dill grill

This dish we usually have with steamed rice and a curried sauce.

15) Kerala Fish Curry

I used to be not a fan of this recipe but ever since I started making it, I love it! 😀

16) Cauliflower Curry

I make this one for our lunch and sometimes for dinner with rotis.

17) Black Chickpea Curry 

Again a Kerala dish that I’m used to and cannot live without.

18) Chicken Biriyani

This is no ordinary biriyani, the last time we went to India, Bigshot and I made this for everyone in our family and they loved it. My mother still praises me for it and since a lot of them had asked for the recipe also, here, Enjoy!

19) Broccoli stir fry 

This is a truly simple recipe and if you love broccoli, you would like this one.

20) Lobster Cake

I remember eating this for the first time with a lot of apprehension but it’s one of my favorite sea food dish now.

21) Asian Coconut Rice 

By now you must have realized that many of my recipes include coconut and coconut milk. This is no different.

22) Stir-Fried Spinach 

Again a favorite of mine and we like the combination of Asian Coconut Rice with this Stir Fry.

23) Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti 

We love Bella mushrooms and this is a regular every month.

24) Carrot Oatmeal Balls

These are super easy and healthy desserts for your sweet tooth. You can adjust the ingredients according to your preference.

25) Coconut Burfi

You think I can create a dessert list without having one with a coconut recipe, did you? 😀

26) Banana Loaf 

If you see the video, you will know how easy and healthy it is.

27) Chocolate Chia Pudding

If you want an easy no bake pudding with chocolate, this can be an easy healthy choice. A good substitute for chia is cashews.

28) Avacado Milkshake 

My sister-in-law and brother loves to make this one and I think everyone who loves milk would like this recipe.

 

Hope everyone  liked the recipes and I’m sorry if the vegetarians had to see many non vegetarian dishes and I’m sorry to others for not having any meat recipes since I don’t make them so I couldn’t put up one in the post.
